Visa Instruction Sheet

• Submit your valid, signed U.S. Official/Diplomatic Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining.

• An official letter of invitation from the Russian Ministry of the Interior, its local offices or the Russian Foreign Ministry, its regional representatives, or any other authorized Russian agency. The letter must contain: official seal and legal address of the agency, document registration number, date of registration, signature and name of an authorized official, travel itinerary, dates of stay, names of persons invited. We reserve the right to request originals of letters of invitation

• Government Official letter of responsibility is required, stating the nature of the business to be performed the name of the government reference to be visited, guarantee sufficient financial support for the visit, and guarantee return transportation to the USA. Typed on the State Department letterhead and addressed to:

Embassy of Russia
Visa Section, Washington, DC.

Consular Fee per Visa
For single entry visas are:
$100 for not less than seven business days processing;
$150 for not less than four business day processing;
$200 for two business day processing;
$300 for sameday/next day processing;
For double entry visas are:
$100 for not less than seven business days processing;
$200 for not less than four business day processing;
$250 for two business day processing;
$350 for same day/next day processing;
For multiple entry visas are:
$100 for not less than seven business days processing;
$300 for not less than four business day processing;
$350 for two business day processing;
$450 for same day/next day processing;

Visas usually processed in 7 working days.
